I'm just getting into trying to be a steady blogger. I'm one of those people that wonders why the HELL anyone would want to read about me or what I do, but then I remember that I like blogs so why the HELL not? Just be forewarned, I tend to zig when I should have zagged a lot! Thought wise, what I like, what's influencing me for the week, the day, the minute, etc. But hey, at least I'm not boring.
Least I hope not.
Anyhow, stuff about me.
* I have 2 cats : Indy on the right and Fatty on the left. Indy is named after Indiana Jones and the Indy 500 collectively cause she was the most curious, speedy kitten it just fit. Fatty was born chubby and never grew out of it so my boyfriend started calling him Fatty and it just stuck. Poor cat.
* I'm going to school to get my B.A. (bachelor of arts) degree so if sometimes posts get sporadic, it's probably cause I've collapsed beneath my desk from exhaustion. I work as a freelance graphic artist doing mostly book covers and promotional art for online authors, though I do love to branch out and have done illustration stuff and logos. I probably won't be publishing any of that on here just because that's a completely different vibe.
* I'm not as big of a fan of pink as this blog would suggest. *laughs* Actually I'm not much of a pastel person at all but it just fit here really well sooooooooo...pink it is. My website for my graphic art is mostly black and red, it's like my alter ego from here.
* I started drawing when I was very young like everyone. I actually can draw quite well if I sit down and actually do it. The problem is that I tend to get bored fast. VERY fast. So I've had to kinda come up with a system where I work on 3 or more things a day, depending on the project. My friend tells me it's very confusing but hey, it works and that's all that counts right?
* My little fiends are just something I started drawing about a year ago.
* I'm a horror/sci-fi fan. I do like cute stuff but I like dark moody stuff also. I like bright colors and I like blacks/whites/ and grey tones.
* I collect toys. I have a decently sized collection of Nightmare Before Christmas toys but I collect skeletons, Kid Robot type toys, movie/tv show stuff, and pretty much anything odd. Someday I'll put up some pics. I don't have any at the moment.
* I have a boyfriend. I've had him for a long time and don't see him leaving anytime soon so that's good.
* I make photo manipulations
* I make Munny dolls
* I screen print (though not recently, I don't have room dammit)
* I am a huge geek in all things Star Trek, Supernatural, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, or Sherlock. (and a bunch of other stuff.)
* I live in Mission Viejo, California about 15 minutes from Laguna Beach. I'm about an hour (or more depending on traffic) from Los Angeles.
I'm sure there's a ton more but I'm not gonna bore you. Ask me a question if you want to I'll answer I promise!

Basically I'd love for this blog to concentrate mostly on my little fiends but I know myself well enough to say that it will probably show all sorts of stuff. So be prepared, keep your eyes and mind open, and I hope you enjoy my little corner of the internet.
